Simple migration from SiPass Entro to SiPass integrated with no hardware redundancy

A key benefit of using SiPass Access Control is that regardless of the size of your system, or the hardware you have installed, you are always able to migrate seamlessly to SiPass integrated, so as your business grows, so can your access control system, without any hardware redundancy what so ever!

There are two simple steps involved in migrating SiPass Entro hardware to SiPass integrated:

  • Connecting the hardware
  • Adding the hardware in the SiPass integrated software

Connecting the hardware couldn't be easier, and are a standard procedure for setting up any access control system. The readers need to be connected to the door controllers, and the door controllers need to be connected to SiPass integrated ACC controller via RS485, it really is as simple as that!

Adding the hardware in the SiPass integrated software is easily achieved by either the Components screen or the Configuration tool. Entro hardware requires a dedicated FLN (Field level network, also known as a data line), which is then discovered by the configuration tool, and Once connected SiPass integrated will support all the connected hardware components – it really is as simple as that!
